Alcarin Lore

Silent Vindiction

The hate you give
Tells me to live
Differently
Than how you treat me
The blade you draw
Won't win the war
Don't make a sound
Just put it down
The hate I see
Inspires me
You won't say a word
Your eyes spoke and mine heard

Your silent vindiction screams out at me
Silent testimony to the wrongs I've done
But to you, I've done no wrong as is plain to see
Contradict yourself in silence, think that you've won

Your eyes they penetrate my inner most thoughts
Invading my serenity, watch it as it rots
Forgiveness is something you discarded along with my worth
You wouldn't forgive me if I were the last man on Earth
