This is the official website of the artist idioSyncr4zy. His real name happens to be Steve. At this point Steve would like to stop talking in the third person and move into the first person. I compose music on my computer using Tracktion 2. Some such compositions you can find on my music page. I also write songs on guitar, which, if I were to categorize them (I'm not a fan of categorizing music) would fall under such genres as emo, grunge, and rock. Most of those songs were originally written under the names "Rue The Day" and "Jack of Hearts", still others were written under the current name of my solo project: "Alcarin Lore". The lyrics to "Alcarin Lore" songs are listed (somewhat) randomly on my lyrics page. I also have put out verse that never made its way into song. Those can be found on my poetry page. A lot of updates today. I moved some lyrics to the poetry page and I added a bunch of songs and poems. On the lyrics page you'll now find the following new lyircs: Shadow, Fact Is Fiction, Two Years Too Late, Rainy Morning View, Town By The Ocean, If You Want It, Take It, It Won't Let On, Always Waking, and Lost For Words. I just realized tonight that this page wasn't loaded properly with Firefox. I made some quick changes, so hopefully it works now. If it doesn't, to see what this site is supposed to look like, please use Internet Explorer. It's also pretty much a moot point because soon I plan on completely revamping this site using an automated system that will make this look professional... as opposed to how it looks now... like I've been playing around with HTML. |

Lots of updates today! Almost all of them are in the lyrics department. The songs now included are Room of Broken Mirrors, For Rachel, Late Night Message, Simply Fall, King of Mediocrity, Escape Artist, Walk The Line, All The Same, Memories Burn, I Told You So, Sea Within Me, New Day, Dizziness, A Long Short Walk, and Sharpy Harpy. At least in the time I've been spending not updating, I've been writing. |

Well, I'm a man of many broken promises. I never really got to heavily updating the website until now, and so far, it's been minimal. However, the lyrics page went over a somewhat major overhaul (you like the contradiction?) in that I've finally decided upon a band name: Alcarin Lore. I know it's only a solo project, but, hey, every good project deserves a name. All the lyrics pages have been edited to accomodate this change. Also note that quite a few new songs have been posted! There were too many to link to, but in future updates, links will be provided. I've been writting the lyrics all along, I just never got around to updating the website, which is really the whole reason I'm trying to re-do the site; so it's easier for me to update. Also note that a poem was added: Wading. The last update is to report that I am indeed making progress in my recording because I received Tracktion 2 for Christmas. Soon there will be mp3's to fill my music page with! |
